The conch shell is a musical instrument used to spread the teachings of Buddha, symbolizing the far-reaching and nature of Buddhist teachings.
The artwork reinterprets the conch's significance. Its open form is seen as an object capable of emitting messages, transforming into a powerful sounding horn. The spiral curves of the shell echo the curves of the human body, creating a strong visual and emotional connection. This symbolizes the fleeting nature of human desires and impulses. It represents the accumulation of inner longings and the need to express these desires. Additionally, an antenna for transmitting messages is incorporated into the opening of the conch. The light diffused from the center is an inherent energy. This light is not just a visual highlight but also signifies the release on emotional and spiritual levels.
